My intro to game dev

I've played video games my entire life. It therefore comes as no surprise that I am interested in game development and the technology involved. Additionally, I enjoy learning new things, and working in a field that frequently changes due to advances in technology and shifting consumer preferences is an interesting industry to be in.

Before telling you what and how I am doing game development, I should tell you what I have been doing for the past month.

Let's start by discussing coding or programming. A game creator should take the simplest route when starting off. And in the field of game programming, that is to use C# and Unity. It contains a ton of tutorials and learning materials. So, in order to learn the fundamentals of game development before using Unity, I took a C# programming course. But I was aware that, aside from game development, I wouldn't be following any of the C# programming paths that anyone else could. I therefore skipped any of the other classes on ASP.net or WSP.

Now that I am familiar with various programming ideas. I can continue studying Unity. However, I first needed to possess some artistic understanding or talent. I thus tried to draw in my free time. But things didn't turn out the way I had imagined. So, I gave Blender a go. I wasn't as bad at using my artistic skills this time.

Okay, I now have a little knowledge about the two fundamental abilities I need to move further.

GAME DEV YOU ARE GOING DOWN. 😎
